AVA is hiring a Junior Production Designer with focus on InDesign and financial reports
We are looking for a junior production designer who wants to become highly skilled in producing long and complex documents. This role is ideal for a student in graphic design or visual communication who wants to work part time alongside their studies. You enjoy the craft of InDesign, are fast and meticulous, and are motivated by getting everything in place in annual reports, sustainability reports, and other publications for listed companies. Your role
The assignments are varied, and your main focus will be the production of annual reports and other financial publications. You will build and finalize documents in InDesign, manage tables and charts, and create illustrations and graphic elements. Some of the work is independent, but most often you will work as part of a project team with clearly defined responsibilities.
Your main tasks will be:

Design and production of financial material and annual/sustainability reports in Adobe InDesign, together with experienced communication consultants and designers.

Production of illustrations, infographics, graphic elements, charts, and diagrams in Adobe Illustrator or similar software.

Design and production of presentation material in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Layout and design of other relevant communication material across platforms.
Your profile
Your personality is just as important to us as your CV and previous experience. In our projects, design and visual communication are important parts, but content, regulatory compliance, and accessibility are equally significant. That’s why it is important that you are creative, detail-oriented, and structured, while also being flexible and solution-driven, and that your work maintains a high level of quality.
We are looking for someone who is studying design or graphic design and wants to gain practical experience in production work in both large and small projects alongside their studies. Previous work experience is a plus, as is knowledge of content production and writing.
To succeed in the role, it is important that you have:

Strong skills in the Adobe Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator.

A fast and structured workflow, with the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.

Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Basic understanding of how to present statistics and figures clearly and transparently using charts, tables, and diagrams.
