AVA is seeking a driven sustainability analyst with an interest in strategic communication
At AVA, we are looking for a sustainability analyst who can combine expertise in sustainability strategy, analysis, and communication. You need to have a strong interest in sustainability, communication, and the capital market as our primary clients are listed companies.

Your role
As an analyst, you will work closely with senior executives in listed companies across various industries. You will help strengthen our clients' sustainability efforts and ensure they meet the latest requirements from EU sustainability directives and standards.
You will work both independently and in teams and are expected to actively contribute to developing our business. Your insights and recommendations help our clients navigate the rapidly changing sustainability landscape and deliver first-class sustainability communication.
Main responsibilities:

Consulting on sustainability reports according to CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

Support in work with CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), including risk analysis and due diligence processes for value chains. Implementation of EU Taxonomy and guidance on classification of sustainable activities.

Monitoring and interpreting EU Green Deal and the upcoming Green Claims Directive to ensure our clients stay ahead in their sustainability work.

Analysis and review of sustainability data, including quality control and data interpretation for reporting.

Support regarding climate targets in accordance with SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).

Content production for sustainability reports, interim reports, annual reports, and presentation materials aimed at the capital market.

Conducting double materiality analysis to identify material sustainability topics.

Communication to the capital market about sustainability strategies and results.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has recently completed a degree in sustainability, finance, or a related field and is ready to take the first step in their career with us. You have a strong interest in sustainability and capital market dynamics, and enjoy analyzing complex challenges to translate them into concrete solutions and communications.

As a person, you are structured and positive, with a creative drive and the ability to deliver high-quality work. You thrive on taking responsibility, but also see the value in close collaboration with colleagues. As each assignment is unique, we also see flexibility, curiosity and analytical skills as important qualities in the role.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have:
- A strong understanding of sustainability issues, Swedish business sector, and the capital market.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are a star at writing and have a natural ability to formulate and package messages in text.
- Good experience working with presentations in PowerPoint, building models in Excel, and producing reports in Word.
- Good technical proficiency as you will work with various digital tools and programs, including many in the Adobe suite.
