AVA is seeking a driven sustainability analyst with an interest in strategic communication

Do you want to work with sustainability issues alongside some of Sweden's most prominent listed companies? AVA Corporate Communications helps companies with reporting, regulatory compliance, strategy and advisory services in sustainability. With our combined expertise in regulation, analysis, reporting and communications, we drive sustainability-related projects together with our clients. We are now looking for an analyst to join our team.


As an analyst at AVA, you have likely recently graduated or are at the very beginning of your career and ready to take the next step. The role demands a high level of accuracy, analytical ability and quality in deliverables, and is suited for someone who thrives with responsibility and wants to develop quickly in an environment where no two days are the same.

Your role


In your role as an analyst, you work closely with senior executives at listed companies across a range of industries. You contribute to strengthening our clients' sustainability efforts and ensuring they meet the requirements of EU sustainability directives and standards.

You work both independently and as part of a team and are expected to actively contribute to developing our business. Your insights and recommendations help our clients navigate the rapidly evolving sustainability landscape and deliver first-class sustainability communications..

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Advisory and preparation of sustainability reports in accordance with CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

  • Support in work with CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), risk analysis and due diligence processes for value chains.

  • Implementation of the EU Taxonomy and guidance on classification of sustainable activities.

  • Monitoring and interpretation of the EU Green Deal and the upcoming Green Claims Directive to ensure our clients stay ahead.

  • Analysis and review of sustainability data, including quality control and data interpretation for reporting.

  • Support on climate targets in accordance with SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative).

  • Content production for sustainability reports, interim reports, annual reports and presentation materials directed at the capital markets.

  • Conducting double materiality assessments to identify material sustainability topics.

  • Communication to the capital markets on sustainability strategies and results.

  • Website updates via CMS systems.

Your profile


We are looking for someone who has recently completed a degree in sustainability and business, or is at the very beginning of their career and ready to take the next step with us. You have a strong interest in sustainability, capital market dynamics, and enjoy analysing complex challenges to turn them into concrete solutions.
Your personality and ability to build relationships are just as important as your formal background. You are structured and meticulous, with a creative drive and the ability to deliver high-quality work. You take ownership, but also value close collaboration with colleagues. As every assignment is unique, flexibility, curiosity and analytical ability are also key qualities for the role.

Key qualities:

  • Understanding of sustainability issues, Swedish business, and the capital markets.
  • Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. You are an outstanding writer with a talent for crafting and packaging messages in text.
  • Solid experience working with presentations in PowerPoint, building models in Excel and producing reports in Word.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ease in learning new digital tools and software.
  • Experience with the Adobe suite is a merit.
