AVA Corporate Communications is pleased to welcome Kimia Emami to the team. Kimia joins as a designer focusing on projects within digital solutions, branding and financial communications.
Kimia holds a master’s degree in User Experience Design from Jönköping University and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
She joins most recently from ScientifyResearch in Stockholm, which helps researchers find research funding. As UX/UI designer, she was responsible for the design process from concept to launch and built the company’s design system from scratch. Before that, she worked as a UX and service designer at Volvo Group in Gothenburg, where she developed concepts for truck interfaces and interiors together with engineers and UX designers. She has also spent two years as a product designer for the US advertising agency ARYU Advertising, working on product design and responsive web design. Over the course of her career, she has created and been responsible for companies’ visual identities, brand guidelines, websites and presentations for both digital and print channels.
At AVA, Kimia will work on the layout and design of annual report projects, web projects and other digital solutions. With her background in user-centred design, she brings new ways of presenting and illustrating complex corporate information clearly and accessibly.
